What information do we hold?
The information we hold includes the details you provide to us via the registration form and learning contract (where applicable) and photocopies of birth certificate/passport/driver’s licence where necessary to comply with awarding body requirements for certain qualifications. We also hold details of conversations we have with you/your tutor/employer throughout your training to ensure we can effectively support you. In some instances, we will record telephone conversations, so these can be included as part of the evidence collection for some qualifications and your permission for this to occur will be requested beforehand and confirmed again at the start of the call.
Your employer will also provide us with information such as your name, employee number, and the address of the pharmacy you work in. This is so that we can start the process of registration onto the relevant training programme for your role within the pharmacy, to help your employer comply with GPhC requirements and ensure the effective running of the pharmacy.
If your circumstances or contact details change, please let us know so we can keep accurate records and enable us to stay in touch with you to support you affectively throughout your training.
